Welcome to the Search Engine Explorer website. NEWS: Search Engine Explorer 4.1 has now been released. You can now search by search engine type. For example if you select "Shopping" from search engines type drop down box you can search all your shopping sites at the touch of a button. Install your favorite shopping sites and you won't want to go back to the old way of shopping. For more information click here. Search engine explorer is a multiple search engine search tool. It allows up to 20 search engines to be running and searched simultaneously at the touch of a button. The gruelling task of having to switch between search engines to find what you want on the internet can be completely eliminated.
Search engine explorer 4.1. The search option allows you to search the internet either automatically with up to 20 search engines or manually using as many search engines as required. The search engine navigation tree allows you to use and manage the search engines and search engine data. more info. New to version 4.1 is the search engine type drop down box. (shown below). This allows you to select your search engines by type and automatically search all the installed search engines for that type. Add your own search engine types and quickly build a directory of search engines, search facilities or website databases that fit your organisation or department; or to simply suit you for personal use. Search engine explorer cuts the time it takes to search and surf the internet in many ways. Firstly, the explorer stores the search results, search pages, websites and pages visited together with the search requests. This means that once you have found what your looking for on the internet using search engine explorer it stays found. There are a number of ways in which you can retrieve this information; either using the websites visited option, the websites visited search option, the results option, the results search option or by using the search engine navigation tree in the search option. The navigation tree allows you to attach to a search engine, revisit pages from a search engine, display and attach to previous results from a search engine, search a search engine, repeat a previous search on a search engine, change the status of a search engine and revisit previous websites found by a search engine. Search engine explorer has no limit on the number of search engines that can be installed. The search engine database comes with 75 of the worlds top search engines already installed. To view the pre-installed search engines select the search engine list page. If your preferred engine isn't installed or you want to install a number of specialist subject search engines you can add your own search engines using the search engines option.
Search engine explorer also produces it's own results by taking the results from each search engine and amalgamating them into one results browser more info.
Search engine explorer has the explorer, the administrator to manage and delete the data generated and 21 external browsers for external browser output from the explorer.
The Previous searches option allows you to repeat previous searches. It also allows you to retrieve the results from a previous search at the click of a mouse. You can also attach to the results all in the same view. more info.
The explorer contains search to search the internet, see results which produces the search engine explorer results, Previous searches which lists the previous searches and their respective results, websites visited which lists the previous websites and pages visited, websites visited search which allows you to search for a previous website or page, results which lists all the previous results from all search engines and results search which allows you search within the search results. Also, the explorer contains Search engine pages to attach to a previous search engine page, Search engine pages search to search through the previous search engine pages, Search engines to add or modify a search engine and Setup that allows you to modify the output of Search Engine Explorer, rebuild the database and delete data.
